Hi! I’m Alan Harari
I was born in Mexico City in 1965, into a Jewish family that fled Aleppo, Syria, when the State of Israel was established and settled in Mexico. In 2010, I decided to move to Israel, leaving behind my career in construction.
When my son turned thirteen and we traveled to the Holy Land for his Bar Mitzvah, I felt that Israel was home. That same year, my family and I left everything behind and moved here.

After making Aliyah, I traded construction for tourism and trained as a tour guide. Despite its small size, Israel offers an incredible wealth of experiences: history, nature, spirituality, and cuisine.

Useful Information for Your Trip to Israel
Currency
The official currency is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS). Credit cards are accepted at most businesses, and cash can be withdrawn from ATMs.
Weather
Israel has hot summers and mild winters. In summer, lightweight clothing, a hat, and sunscreen are recommended; in winter, bring a light jacket and something warmer for the evenings.
Connectivity
You can purchase a local SIM card or eSIM with data upon arrival. Most hotels and cafés offer free Wi-Fi. Check with your mobile provider if you plan to use international roaming.
Electricity
The voltage is 230 V / 50 Hz, and power outlets are usually Type H (and sometimes Type C). A universal travel adapter is usually sufficient for most travelers.
Emergencies
Emergency numbers in Israel: 100 (Police), 101 (Ambulance), 102 (Fire Department). Always travel with valid travel medical insurance.
Travel Documents
For travelers from many countries, a tourist visa is not required for short stays, but your passport must be valid for at least six months. In addition, visa-exempt travelers must obtain an ETA-IL electronic travel authorization before traveling.
